About

Katy has over a decade of experience in the UK education sector having worked in schools, colleges and specialist education centres since 2008.  Starting out as a Learning Support Assistant in an inner London Comprehensive, she quickly realised her love for working with young people, soon moving on to her second role as a Cover Supervisor before training at Froebel College, Roehampton University for her PGCE in Secondary English teaching.  Alongside her work in inner London comprehensives she also led the education programme for three years at a specialist sports education facility for young professional tennis players and ran a small tuition business.  Most recently she has spent five successful years teaching at the prestigious East London Arts and Music (ELAM)  in Bow, London as an English teacher and masterclass host.
